Spinning Colorful Braids from Hand Painted Fiber
Class Description: Explore ways to prepare hand painted fiber braids to get many different effects in the finished yarn. Have you ever purchased a beautiful braid and then not known how to spin it, or spun a beautiful braid only to be disappointed in the way the colors look in the yarn? Learning more about ways to spin a braid will help you better predict the outcome.
Students can use what we discuss in class to help them consider the braids they might want to buy at SAFF.
