Registration and Payment:

You can register and pay for your class in one of several ways:

1. Online: Click HERE to register and pay now via credit card.

2. In person: Visit the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm (see address below) during open hours (M-F, 10-3) to complete a class registration form and make your payment via cash or check.

3. By mail: Click HERE for the Registration Form, then download and print the form. Complete the form and mail (see address below) with a check made out to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Double Weave on an 8 Harness Loom
Class Description: Start with an 8-H Double Weave Block draft ... and change it to stripes or stylized blocks.
Plan the changes, or just Play. Make cloth for a sewing project: a vest, a tote bag, etc. Plan a game board for Checkers, a table runner or placemats. This is a 3 day course.

Fee:  Payable by cash, check or credit card
$180.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$190.00 for non-HWFA members

Prerequisites: Weaving on an 8 harness loom
Maximum number of students: 4
Materials provided by instructor: Yarn and handouts
Materials fee: $15.00 (payable in cash to instructor first day of class)
Materials brought by student: Lunch and drink. Weaving tools, small sharp scissors or snips, pencil and calculator.

Additional information: Park at the Historic Johnson F, arm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
