Registration and Payment:

You can register and pay for your class in one of several ways:

1. Online: Click HERE to register and pay now via credit card.

2. In person: Visit the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm (see address below) during open hours (M-F, 10-3) to complete a class registration form and make your payment via cash or check.

3. By mail: Click HERE for the Registration Form, then download and print the form. Complete the form and mail (see address below) with a check made out to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Beginning Knitting
Class Description: This 3 day class is for the person who has never picked up knitting needles before. You will learn to cast on, knit and purl stitches, and how to bind off to create a cowl.

Fee:  Payable by cash, check or credit card
$75.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$85.00 for non-HWFA members

Materials provided by instructor: Pattern, instruction material, yarn

Materials brought by student: Size 7 knitting needles, scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, one large button

Additional information: Park at the Historic Johnson Farm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
