Registration and Payment:

You can register and pay for your class in one of several ways:

1. Online: Click HERE to register and pay now via credit card.

2. In person: Visit the Boarding House at the Historic Johnson Farm (see address below) during open hours (M-F, 10-3) to complete a class registration form and make your payment via cash or check.

3. By mail: Click HERE for the Registration Form, then download and print the form. Complete the form and mail (see address below) with a check made out to Heritage Weavers and Fiber Artists.

Rug Punch with Yarn
Class Description: Starting with getting the pattern on the frame all the way to finishing the piece. Learn the techniques to follow the pattern and stay within the lines. We will be using 3 ply wool yarn which is included in your kits.

Fee: Payable by cash, check or credit card
$30.00 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at time of registration)
$40.00 for non-HWFA members

Prerequisites: Some experience with rug punch or punch needle would be helpful
Maximum number of students: 5
Materials provided by instructor: Kit
Materials fee: $45.00 (payable in cash to instructor first day of class)
Materials brought by student: Oxford Punch #10, heavy quilting hoop 10-12” diameter (or stretcher frame) and scissors. Instructor will have these available.

Additional information: Park at the Historic Johnson Farm Interpretive Center and walk to the Boarding House. Handicapped parking is available at the Boarding House. Please note, as a historic building, the Boarding House is not handicapped accessible.
